Being a teenager is tough! Break-ups, losing friends, struggling in school, family relationships, anxiety, pressures of life…any one of those things is enough to make life hard. Through our Safe Space Coaching Sessions, we’ll work one-on-one with your teen or young adult; showing them how to tap into their true passion & purpose and how to live in it every day. Through the combination of cognitive and experiential lessons, this power-packed program teaches teens and young adults.
I change the trajectory of teens’ and young adults’ lives. As a result of working with me teens and young adults fall madly in loving with who they are; they open up and communicate more effectively, putting words to their feelings and thoughts; and they make integrity based decisions. Integrity is the key because anyone can make a decision.
I help teens or young adults walk bolder in their Greatness and stand taller in their Brilliance.
I help teens learn how to better understand who they are so they can see their full potential. As their personal life coach, I offer the perfect level of support to help them move through their challenges while falling madly in love with themselves.
What is a Personal Life Coach?
I like to say that a life coach wears many hats, as a facilitator, advocate, friend, navigator, partner, sometimes consultant, but it’s a dramatically different relationship from other improvement processes; in coaching, you share that power. People expect us to tell them what to do. In reality, we prompt them to tell us what they want to do. It’s the synergy in our relationship that creates opportunity and change.
At LAYV (Layv.Org), we believe many of the problems in modern society are due, at least in part, to people being unable to understand and appropriately express emotion, especially our teens. Through life coaching I teach Emotional Literacy. Emotional Literacy is a preventive tool, which properly understood, can help solve many social ills — violence, illness, drug abuse, dysfunctional relationships, and global societal conflicts. On the other hand, people who deal with emotions in a positive way find tremendous benefit. Emotional Literacy can contribute to health, to positive relationships, to success, and to quality of life.
